Futures End is an alternate New 52-era storyline set in 5 years in the future in the New 52 Universe. Futures End was eleven-month weekly miniseries with 48 core issues. The story was written by Brian Azzarello, Keith Giffen, Dan Jurgens, and Jeff Lemire.

In this storyline, many heroes become mindless supervillains. Batman Beyond traveled back in time to warn the superheroes about this massive danger but he was late. Brother Eye has already taken over Cadmus and has taken the remaining heroes of Earth-2 as its mind-controlled slaves. Green Arrow also has a major role in this series.

What to read after Futures End?

The storyline of Futures End ended in a cliffhanger at the end of issue 48 but the story was completed in itself. The story of Futures End also used in the Convergence cross-over event with Brainiac and Booster Gold.
